Glue (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates Glue (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Service.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in via GitHub OAuth, we receive your GitHub username, public profile information, and email address as permitted by your GitHub settings.
When you connect third-party services (such as Google Search Console, Jira, Linear, ClickUp, or GitHub), we collect OAuth tokens and the minimum data necessary to provide the integration. For Google Search Console, we request read and write access to your site's search performance data and sitemap management using the webmasters scope. This allows us to view performance data and submit sitemaps for indexing. We store encrypted access and refresh tokens; we never store your Google account password.
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, API request logs, and session duration. We use this data to improve the Service and diagnose issues.
To provide code intelligence features, we index code repositories you connect to the Service. This data is stored securely and used exclusively to power features within your account. We do not sell or share your code with third parties.
We do not use your data to train AI models operated by third parties, and we do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Integration tokens are deleted immediately upon disconnecting an integration.
We use industry-standard security measures including AES-256-GCM encryption for stored OAuth tokens, TLS encryption in transit, and access controls limiting who can access your data. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and report any suspected security issues to admin@getglueapp.com.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@getglueapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies (e.g., PostHog) to understand how the Service is used. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
